Education Alternatives in Henderson, NV

The Clark County School District provides the elementary and secondary education in the city. There are 29 elementary schools, 9 middles chools, and 9 high schools. Five of the nine high schools are public schools. A tenth public high school, Silverado High School, also serves parts of Henderson, but is located in the unincorporated area of Clark County.

There have been some attempts and thoughts to split the Clark Count School Districts in to four independant regions: North Las Vegas School District, Las Vegas School District, Henderson School District, and Boulder City School District.

Henderson also harbors the Touro University Nevada, University of Southern Nevada and Nevada State College.
